Colorado Wildfire Update

As of Tuesday afternoon, June 26th, 2012, we could smell smoke in the air and see smoke to the south. Here is a map showing where the fire is and where Camp Colorado is.

As the crow flies it’s about 40 miles away. Also a live fire map is available at: http://www.geomac.gov/viewer/viewer.shtml. To see the Waldo Canyon Fire, choose Waldon Canyon, CO from the Jump to Fire drop down menu on the upper right side. Then, on the left menu, click the triangle next to Base Data and choose Street Map.
