It is with heavy hearts we announce all COB summer camps have been cancelled for the 2020 season and will not be rescheduled. This decision, made by the Western Plains District Leadership Team, was not made lightly or easily. It was agreed that the top priority is keeping all youth, staff and volunteers safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. This cancellation of camp also includes the cancellation of our annual Work Camp over Memorial Day weekend. As such, we find ourselves needing to re-imagine the Annual Membership Meeting usually held on Saturday night of Work Camp. Instead of gathering in person, we will be meeting via Zoom video conferencing. The good news is that this allows all who normally cannot join us at camp to participate in the Annual Meeting! With this in mind, The Brethren Leadership Foundation (d/b/a Camp Colorado, Inc.) announces its Annual Meeting of the membership to be held on Saturday, May 23rd, 2020 at approximately 6 pm MT/ 7pm CT. The primary agenda items are the Annual Report, Financial Report, and the Nomination/Election of new Board members. The terms of Jerry Bowen, LeAnn Harnist, Rosi Jones, Bud Taylor have expired. Of these, Bowen has chosen not to accept re-nomination to the board. Thus, there is one opening on the board.
